  1.                               imgTECH/IV
  2.      
  3.      imgTECH/IV is a shareware product.  Shareware is a distribution
  4.      method which gives users an opportunity to try software before
  5.      buying it.  If you try imgTECH/IV for a reasonable trial period and
  6.      continue using it, you are required to register. 
  7.      The registration fee is $20.00 US plus shipping and handling.  When
  8.      you register as a user of imgTECH/IV:
  9.           1.  We will send you a diskette containing the latest version
  10.               of imgTECH/IV and its documentation personally registered
  11.               to you.
  12.           2.  You will be informed of updates to imgTECH/IV, which will
  13.               be made available to you for a nominal fee to cover
  14.               production costs.
  15.           3.  You will be informed of other products by imgTECH.
  16.      
  17.      International copyright laws apply to imgTECH/IV.  imgTECH retains
  18.      all rights to imgTECH/IV with the following exceptions:
  19.           1.  You are granted the right to copy and distribute free of
  20.               charge the imgTECH/IV package, complete and unmodified.
  21.           2.  Shareware distributers may charge a nominal fee for
  22.               distribution of the imgTECH/IP package, as long as the
  23.               recipient is informed that the fee paid does not relieve
  24.               the recipient from paying the registration fee for
  25.               imgTECH/IV if the recipient wishes to use IV.
  26.      
  27.      Anyone wishing to distribute imgTECH/IV for remuneration or as part
  28.      of another system must first contact imgTECH at the address below
  29.      for authorization.  imgTECH can then ensure that the distributer is
  30.      kept up to date with the latest version of the software.
  31.      
  32.      Users of imgTECH/IV must accept the following disclaimer:
  33.      
  34.      "imgTECH/IV is provided as is.  imgTECH disclaims all warranties
  35.      expressed or implied.  imgTECH makes no guarantee that imgTECH/IV
  36.      is suitable for any given purpose.  imgTECH assumes no liability
  37.      for any damages, direct or otherwise which may result from use of
  38.      imgTECH/IV."
